Gaulouis, the Dad of our current puppies, got 1. Excellent in Champion class.

- The pregnancy is confirmed, our Queenie will have puppies end of May!!!!

- Our latest HD results are back from the German Kennel Club VDH/FCI:
Jason A1, Pamela A1, Queenie A1 and Piccola also A1. We are very happy about these
news!!!

> February 2009

- We went to Ferrara, Italy, to breed our female Queenie to italian Ch. Gaulouis delle Farnie.

> September 2009

We welcome 2 new females and 1 new male in our kennel. Their names are Milú, Zaira and
Rudy. Check out their pages for more information

> August 2009:

- We welcome 2 new females in our kennel: Rosalie and Brandy.

Since we had been so happy about the conformation, health and character of our Piccola,
Pamela and Queenie, we couldn't miss the opportunity to get Rosalie when we found out
that she is available.

-A few days later we got a call from our friend Mattia from "Taparina" Kennel, Italy. He was
offered to buy a female out of "Brunella della Taparina", a female he bred.
He asked if we would be interested in her, otherwise he would keep her himself...
After looking at Brandy and her pedigree there was no doubt: Of course we wanted her!!!
Her 4-generation pedigree contains not only 12 Italian Champions but also 2 World
Champions, 3 Reproduction Champions and 10 Club Champions.
Many thanks again to Mattia for giving us the opportunity to own such a fine dog!!!

- Later this year our Jason will go to Sweden to visit our friend Marianne, "Ridings"
Kennel. He will be available there for stud to approved females. For more info, contact us
or Marianne.

- National dog show Sacile (Venice), Italy:

We showed our Jason on another dog show in Italy. He was doing very well although it
was a very hot day and got Excellent 2. with reserve CAC in open class.
"Corleone della Taparina", a half brother to our Diva, Vita and Da Vinci, got first, took the
BOB and later also got third in the Group 8. Congrats, Mattia!!!!!

- We have added a new page about the colours of the breed with alot of pictures!

> July 2009:

- Our Jason was bred to a very nice female in Italy coming from Morara Kennels. The
pregnancy is confirmed and we are very curious about the result. We will get one puppy
back as a stud fee that we will keep but if anybody is interested in this combination, we
can provide more info about the female and will help with the shipping of the puppy later.

> June 2009:

- Raduna Razze Italiane, Mantova, Italy.
This was a special show only for italian breeds and there had been 56 Lagotti entered.
Our Jason got excellent 3. in open class out of 15 dogs!!! Our little Laura got 1. and Rico 4.
in puppy class.
We are very happy about these results.

Jason in the show ring:

> February 2010

- Lagotto Specialty Ancona, Italy.

First Laura got excellent 1. in youth class, later she became "Best Young Dog", was under
the last 3 dogs for the BOB and under the last 10 dogs in the honor ring for the "BIS Young
Dog". Jack became "Very Promissing 1." in puppy class, 28 Lagotti entered.

> January 2010

- Unfortunately our computer crashed over the holidays and many emails got lost. We had
been able to recover some data, but if you have sent us an email in the last 3 weeks and
didn't get any response yet, it for sure didn't make it... So please contact us again, thanks.

- International dog show Nurnberg, Germany.

Rudy got first in puppy class, Laura and Rico both also got first in youth class and took
their first JCAC for the title "German Youth Champion". 14 Lagotti had been entered.
What a weekend....

- We have planed a new litter for spring, the mother will be our Tosca. She got bred to
Italian Ch. Matt from Morara kennels, Imola, Italy. Click here for more details.

A special thanks to Mario Morara and his wife Piera Piancastelli for their hospitality. We
really enjoyed our visit and for sure will come back.
They are magnificent people that take great care of their dogs and the breed and we hope
to make them proud with our litter after Matt. Thank you for letting us use him!!!

> December 2009

- 4 days of international and national dog show in Verona, Italy.

We showed our male "Rudy" for the first time and he became "Best Puppy of the Breed" on
all 4 days. One day he also had been selected under the best 7 dogs for the "Best in Show
Puppy" (out of over 40 dogs competing).
Our Queenie got "Excellent 1" in open class on Tuesday, Laura and Dolce Vita both got
"Very Promising" on all days. This was the last show Laura was participating in puppy
class, next year she and Rico will be in youth class and we are very curious how they will
do. What a final of the show season 2009!!!

> October 2009

- Jason has left for his trip to Sweden, he will stay there till spring 2010. We hope he is
having a good time and will produce allot of nice puppies!
While beeing there he is available for stud to approved bitches, for more info contact us or
Marianne, "Ridings" Kennel.

- World dog show Bratislava, Slovakia

We showed our Laura and our Rico, both in puppy class.

Laura got "Very promising 2.", Rico "Very promising 3." and both got very good critiques.
We are very happy since this also was the first show they participated.

- International dog show Bastia Umbra, Italy.

Again Laura and Rico both got "Very Promising 1." in puppy class, Rico later also became
"Best Lagotto Puppy"

At the same weekend a half sister of our puppies DaVinci, Diva and Dolce Vita became BIS
on the Raduno of the Italian Lagotto Club out of over 130 Lagotti entered from all over the
world.
We would like to congratulate Mattia for this incredible result and again are very proud and
thankful to have used Gaulouis delle Farnie in our breeding program and we are looking
forward to present our puppies in the show ring later this year.

BIS Winner Raduno CIL, Italy: Allegra della Taparina

- After finding a good home for DaVinci we were looking around for a new male puppy
in Italy that would fit our breeding program and we finaly found it. His name is Jack.
His Daddy "Tony dei Colli Irpini" already has won several points towards his italian
Champion ship and also is on the way to achieve his working title as a Truffle search
dog.

National Dog Show Lodi, Italy

Laura got exc. 2 in youth class again.

- Toscas puppies are born!!!

Tosca gave birth to 7 little puppies. Unfortunately one of the little guys didn't make it, but the
remaining 6 are doing well. They are 3 boys and 3 girls.

- National Dog Show Piacenza, Italy

We went to Piacenza to show our Laura again. She got an excellent judgement, 1. place in
youth class and finally also became "Best of Breed"!

- International Dog Show Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Laura became exc.2 in youth class.

- International Dog Show Offenburg, Germany.

Rico and Laura both finished their title "German Youth Champion"!!!
It had been 11 Lagotti entered and we again won each class. Laura and Rico both got
another JCAC and finished their "German Youth Champion".

- International Dog Show Gonzaga, Italy.

We only showed our Laura in young class and she got exc1 and best young dog again.

- International Dog Show Munich, Germany.

Our Rico won the FCI Group 8!!!

What a show! Rico and Laura both got exc1, JCAC in youth class, 11 Lagotti had been
entered. Then Rico became BOB and later also became 1. in the honor ring winning BIG 8.
